This is a rare promotional pinback from the Original Broadway production of the
IRVING BERLIN and HARRY B. SMITH musical 'WATCH YOUR STEP" which played
the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City
. (The Original Broadway production opened December 8th, 1914 and ran for 175 performances. The London production opened May 4th, 1915
at
the Empire Theatre in London
and ran for 275 performances.) ..... This was IRVING BERLIN's first complete score for a book musical, having contributed songs to a number of other shows and revues beginning in 1910.
