1790
British sterling silver
coffee pot.
From the London work shop of
Thomas Wallis I.
First listed 1756.
Never monogrammed.
Hallmarked as shown, full hallmarks to base,
partial matching marks under cover, and oddly enough
two additional matching hallmarks under spout, a marking
we have not observed before.
This 230 year old British sterling coffee pot is 9/2 inches
tall and 9 handle to spout weighs 30 standard ounces.
In very fine condition.
Rich sterling patina throughout,
and retains original hand carved detail.
Original hand carved handle, mild surface wear.
