    Description

    This is a pair of souvenir demitasse spoons with Royal Coats of Arms of Portugal and Brazil. The Royal Portugal Coat of Arms design was used by various monarchs in the 1700s as well as on a 500 Reis coin from 1908 to 1910. The same Braganza Royal House also ruled Brazil in the early 1800s. The other spoon (sand cast without sharp details) has their Royal Coat of Arms used in Brazil. One spoon is marked 900, the other has an assay nark of what appear to be birds back to back.
